The product team here at Desk.com needs your help. We’re working really hard to improve the experience of our product and make sure our customers are in the loop. We think talking to our customers directly about changes we’re considering is important, and we always consider your feedback and suggestions. Occasionally we’ve got a need to run an idea out there and see what people think of it. This is one of those times.
We’ve been working on some small tweaks to the interface to help tighten up some workflows and improve the layout of the Agent, specifically for those of you who are on small screens or use a small browser window. A big part of that is a change we’re proposing to the bulk editor.
One of the things we’re experimenting with is moving that editor to the left pane, over the area where you would normally see your filter options. This fixes several instances where Agents need to scroll to reveal Cases they are working on due to screen overcrowding.
Another improvement is the addition of checkboxes next to each Case to make selection fast and more “sure-footed.” The checkboxes are similar to those in email inboxes.
It’s still rough, but we’d love your thoughts on this demo video we’ve created. We think workflow improves dramatically with this update, but we’d love to hear your opinion.
