Something New at Cloudforce
At today’s big Cloudforce Event at Moscone West (Fourth and Howard), we’re going to be tweeting live from the Salesforce Social Lounge, located behind the “campground” on the first level. The Social Lounge will have a lot going on:
There will have presentations all day. Lots of thought leaders and folks “in the trenches” of social media and social customer service will be there with practical, useful, and concrete tips—from how to tweet a photo to how to advertise on social channels. Desk.com’s Alyson Stone will be your live reporter, channeling Christiane Amanpour and Edward R. Murrow, using Twitter to keep our followers informed. Let’s hope it doesn’t come out like an episode of I Love Lucy! (Wonder what Edward R. Murrow would think of Twitter …?)
If you are going to the event, Desk.com’s VP of Wow, Dan Stern, will speak in the Lounge at 12:30 and 1:30 on using Twitter in a Social Enterprise. He will also speak in one of the Cloudforce breakout sessions (West 2005) at 4 p.m.
If you want, you can enter one of 3 contents with prizes provided by Desk.com customers Pandora, Bonobos, and Sonos. All the details are here, and we’ll be tweeting about the contests all day.
