Desk.com: The Recap

By |

In the spirit of taking a moment to reflect on the past few months of our journey, here’s a recap of both the sublime, ridiculous, important, and just-plain-fun stuff that has been happening at Desk.com

1. Awards Everywhere!

Let’s get the bragging out of the way …Just got a great award from Webhost Magazine & Buyer’s Guide—the Editor’s Choice Award.webhost Desk.com: The Recap
This was a nice surprise out of the blue, since we didn’t apply for it. The editors discovered us and voila!

This year we’ve also been very pleased to be a “Champion” and a “Value Award” winner in Info-Tech Research Group’s Vendor Landscape report for the category of Customer Service Management Platforms. The reports cites “a solid feature set at an extremely competitive price.”

We also received the CRM Excellence Award—the Customer Interaction Solutions 2011 Product of the Year Award.

We hope to keep these coming!

2. A Favorite Staff Photo

Many on our team are photogenic and quite charming. Here is an example: This is Dylan from the Marketing Team taking a moment at Cloudforce in March at San Francisco. This shot is titled Dylan Practicing His BoothBabe Skills.

And this hilarious volley from Support:

Customer: The @Desk inactivity warning sound scares the bejesus out of me when I have my headphones in.

Alyson @Desk_Support: I know, right? The first time I heard that sound I thought there was an air raid ^abs (you know you can change that, right?)

Customer: No, I didn’t know. Thanks for the heads up!

Alyson: From Agent desktop go to Settings>Sound (try Perky) ^abs — anything but default!

Customer: Wonderful! Thanks so much!

smugmug Desk.com: The Recap

Our customer, SmugMug, created a remarkable cast of characters using their team members as canvases.  It’s hours of fun to identify the superheroes, and watch the videos of the face artists bringing them to life. See the whole remarkable series!

Our favorite field trip over the past few months was our trip to 826Valencia, where Desk.com donated to the cause of helping children become excited about writing and the literary arts.
