Dock/Undock Agent Email Reply to Cut Down on Scrolling

By |

Lengthy emails require annoying scrolling for Agents. We hate extra work for Agents, so we’ve got a nice improvement—now you can Dock and Undock your Email Reply Window. Efficiently compose your replies to lengthier emails, or work efficiently from a smaller screen, without tiresome scrolling.

Here’s how it works:

On the Email Reply Window, there is now a small arrow to permit Docking/Undocking.

The Reply Window will remain in a fixed position (docked) so you always have it available, no matter how long the email is.

If you need your “More” dropdown open, that expanded view will remain available along with the Reply Window.

If the screen size is too small (or you manually reduce the size of your window), the system will adjust by automatically Undocking the Agent Reply Window. When the screen size is large enough, the system will then re-enable Docking.

Once you set to Dock or Undock, Desk.com will remember your setting and open all cases in your preferred mode, as long as  you are on that machine and in the same browser.
