Many thanks to all who entered. This was great fun, and it was a joy to work with the Boloco team.

On January 31, Desk.com conducted a contest celebrating our launch.

On the day of our launch as Desk. com, we arranged with our Boston customer, Boloco, to give away 1000 free burritos at three of their locations. Boloco’s is a popular Boston chain, and the response was amazing.

The word went out:

“Want a free burrito? On January 31st 2012, between 12–2pm ET, tweet a ‘Thank You’  referencing #getdesk on twitter, then check-in at one of the three Boloco locations below on Foursquare!”

“Want a $600 Apple Gift Card? Tweet a photo of yourself holding a Boloco Burrito with the Desk.com logo visible for a chance to win a $600 Apple Gift Card. Questions? Read the full rules here.”

There was much rejoicing, and all burritos were snapped up. There were great stories, too, like this one about a girl and her parking ticket — Boloco came through with flying colors, seizing the opportunity to demonstrate the power of customer service! The winner of the photo contest will be announced on Thursday, 2/3/12.

We’ll be putting up video footage of the event soon, along with a great interview with Boloco’s innovative and smart CEO, John Pepper. The folks at Boloco are a treat to work with — and they are a perfect example of the progressive company that understands the power of social, mobile customer service.

Here are some of the pictures that the creative Boloco customers sent us:
