Desk.com is building an Inside Sales team to help identify and support our target customers with the goal of generating profitable and scalable revenue. The team members need to be smart, motivated, proactive, organized - and able to work well in a fast-paced, team oriented environment.
As an Inside Sales Representative, you would identify target customers through a variety of online research tools (LinkedIn, Technology Blogs, Articles, groups, etc.) and perform a high-level analysis of the prospect's current support environment, identifying opportunities where Desk.com can create value. You would then engage the prospect by phone, email, twitter, etc. in order to introduce Desk.com. You will have the full support of our support organization to demo our solution with the goal converting the prospect into a Free Trial. During this period you would maintain close interaction with the prospect to ensure that they have a great experience and ultimately convert to a paying customer.
In order to do this job well you must be high-energy, confident, and creative. Experience in cold calling, sales pitches, general business development and SaaS a major plus. You will be given industry and product training so that you are able to work with our prospects to clearly understand their requirements and share Desk.com's value. The role offers you significant growth opportunities and is the training ground for sales and account management.
