Quality Assurance Engineer

What you’ll be doing:
- Testing new software features and regression testing existing functionality
- Logging defects and feature requests into our tracking system and seeing each one through to completion
- Building relationships with other departments such as Support, Development, Product Management and Infrastructure

The ideal candidate is:
- Experience with black box testing of enterprise software using a front-end GUI and API
- Experience with cross browser testing, including mobile browsers
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills, perseverance and patience
- Top-notch English skills - written and verbal
- Detail oriented
- Ability to work in a fast paced, aggressive environment where multi-tasking and juggling priorities are typical
- Knowledge of basic SQL queries
- Knowledge of email protocols such as IMAP, SMTP and related troubleshooting
- Knowledge of social networking sites such as Twitter and Facebook
- Strong understanding of web development technologies and concepts including AJAX, Ruby on Rails, PHP, ASP.NET, JAVAScript, HTML, Databases
- Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, Lighthouse, Fogbugz, Team Foundation Server, etc.
- Experience with automated testing using tools such as Selenium, Watir, Cucumber, is a major plus
- Experience with scripting languages such as Ruby is a major plus
- Experience with Continuous Integration Servers such as Jenkins is a plus
- Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce, Remedy, Rightnow, etc. is a plus
- Experience with the entire Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including requirements gathering, development, testing, deployment, documentation, support and maintenance is a plus
- You must be self motivated and have the ability to "dive right in", be effective, and make a difference
- You should exhibit a curiosity about "how things work" and "how to make them better"
