Senior Product Manager

We are seeking a highly-motivated Senior Product Manager to contribute in shaping our product and strengthening our online presence across web, tablet, and mobile devices. We drive our product by the user experience, and need someone with the skills who can keep up and push the vision forward. You will work directly with the head of product, as well as the rest of the product team, to create experiences that reinforce the Desk.com brand and help wow our customers. The Senior Product Manager will work with the head of product to create, prioritize, and execute the product roadmap. You will work with the product management team in delivering a suite of products and features as a single, cohesive strategy. As a senior member of the product management team, you will help to refine the existing vision as well as contribute entirely new ideas.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Work directly with the head of product while applying your analytical and creative abilities to define a product vision and innovative solutions that exceed user expectations.
- Analyze and deeply understand market trends and competitors.
- Connect directly with customers to collect user feedback, and feed that information back into our product development process.
- Formulate and measure product analytics to ensure on-going product performance.
- Lead the implementation and incremental improvement of our agile processes.
- Be a contributor to product launch activities.
- Be a dedicated internal and external evangelist of Desk.com products.
An Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum of 5 years as a Product Manager and/or UX Designer. Bonus for experience in the help desk software, or large-scale consumer web application space.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles as they relate to web applications. Bonus for work experience in UI/UX design.
- Strong understanding of both social and mobile web applications, as well as related technology trends.
- Proven track record for developing, managing, and launching large-scale web-based software products.
- Strong technical and data-analysis skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication, as well as interpersonal skills.
- Agile, adaptable and capable of delivering new products and features iteratively.
