Technical Recruiter
Desk.com Technical Recruiter will ensure that we find and attract the best possible employees to help grow Desk.com. You'll manage the entire recruiting lifecycle, working closely with the relevant hiring managers. It'll be up to you to ensure the job description is up to par, use creative channels to find passive candidates, and attend networking events to spread the word and meet new people. You are a sales person at heart, and you will be a great representation of the Desk.com brand and our company overall.
What you’ll be doing:
- Work with hiring managers to craft job descriptions
- Manage and maintain job postings on our website and various 3rd party sites
- Actively recruit passive candidates with appropriate tools such as MeetUps, LinkedIn, etc.
- Sell the vision and promise of Desk.com to candidates, while also screening them for hiring managers
- Onboard candidates once they make the right decision to join Desk.com
- Be an employee advocate
- Be a team player in a flat-structured, highly collaborative environment
- Embrace the startup lifestyle
The ideal candidate:
- Sales person at heart with an ability to find and recruit candidates
- Deeply passionate about technology and comfortable with things such as Rails, JQuery, MySQL, ec2, etc.
- Self motivated with the ability to "dive right in", be effective, and make a difference
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, and experience in facilitation
- Detail oriented
- 1-2 years of technical recruiting experience
