Why did we build this Trust & Status page?

Trust is the foundation of a good relationship and we want to earn your trust by delivering a robust product and a transparent view into our operations. We're committed to building reliable systems that you can depend on in your business. And we're committed to sharing our operational status, so you can provide the highest level of support. There is no finish line when it comes to trust, so we encourage your feedback and we seek to get continually better.

What is scheduled maintenance?

Desk.com has a daily pre-scheduled maintenance window which opens at 11:00 PM Pacific Time and usually lasts less than 5 minutes. We use this time to make updates to our real-time systems and improve our customers' experience. We don't always use this maintenance window, and we will publish our intent on your system dashboard and via the @desk_ops twitter feed so you know in advance that we will be updating the system.

What is the @Desk_OPs Feed?

The Desk.com Operations Team maintains an active Twitter feed, @desk_ops, where they post important updates on system status and maintenance for Desk.com.

You can follow @desk_ops with your Twitter account or visit the page directly to ensure you always have the latest information. @desk_ops is the first place we post any status changes or updates.

Why do you exclude scheduled maintenance?

We designed our Trust calendar to show unscheduled service interruptions, not scheduled maintenance windows. We believe this is the best indicator of how we're doing. We understand that scheduled maintenance may have an impact on your use of Desk.com, so we will be adding a way to view maintenance times soon.
